Bryan's Tractor Ride

Grandpa Church and Bryan take a tractor ride during Christmas vacation

Christmas - Part Two

On Dec. 26, we opened presents in the morning at Grandma and Grandpa Church's house. We then had a huge lunch. Since our dad really likes to eat, we then went to Grandma and Grandpa Newton's house for dinner. We got to open even more presents after that. What a great day that we spent with all four grandparents, our aunts and uncles, and our parents.

Christmas Eve & Christmas Day

On Christmas Eve, mom and dad got us dressed up and we went to church. We came home and went to bed after that. When we woke up in the morning, Santa Claus had come and we opened all our presents. Later in the morning, we drove to great-grandparents Selby for a Christmas lunch. We saw lots of family and stayed until the evening. We then spent the night at grandparents Church's house. It was a busy and fun day.

'Twas The Night Before Christmas

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a cat

The stockings were hung by the television stand with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of milk and trains danced in their heads

And then, I, Jordan Newton, realized something.
I made such a clatter, and made dad and mom sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.

While my brother Bryan slept
I got an early start to see everything that St. Nick brought.
And as I played with my new toys, I heard someone exclaim
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night."

Merry Christmas from the Newtons! We will be back later this week with tales from Christmas.

Uncle Jon!

On Wednesday, I got to meet Uncle Jon and Aunt Marcy for the first time when they flew into town from Portland. They were just able to stay for a few hours, but I will get to see them again next week. My initial impression is that they are pretty cool.

I'm Super Cute

Sorry ... Bryan and I have been bad about keeping up with the blog lately. We are making sure Santa puts us on the nice list for his final rating. We will try to make up for the blog in the next few days.

Basketball Game

Mom and dad took us out last night. We first went out to eat, and Bryan tried a salsa-dipped lemon (It wasn't good!). Afterwards, we went to watch a basketball game. Our team won but the most exciting part for Bryan was the mascot... Jordan was not excited about anything as he slept throughout the night.

Guess Who Turned One (Month) Today

I had a busy one-month birthday. I went to the doctor in the afternoon. I am doing good and weigh just under 10 pounds. Mommy then took me shopping and we had a family dinner out. I had my favorite -- formula milk!

Grandparents Visit

Last Sunday, Grandma and Grandpa Church visited us. Bryan and grandpa played outside a lot and they took us both out to a great lunch. Between their visit and us seeing Santa Claus, it was a good weekend.

Santa Claus Is Coming To Town

Over the weekend, the two of us visited Santa and Mrs. Claus at the St. Peters Log Cabin. They were really nice. Santa didn't even yell at Jordan when Jordan nearly took his beard off.
